When I was a kid, my older sister bought a big pen from the Zoo gift shop. It’s pink, there’s a bear, an elephant and things that seems to be owls on it. Also, it has a tiger head as a topper. She gave it to me when she moved to her own place and it’s now in my pens container, rigth beside my computer. I like to collect pens.

I didn’t see any tiny animals, then again after I started taking pictures, the place was swarmed with an assload of kids, so I was under duress. That escalator is my favorite, the Woodley Park one, because it is so long. I always say I’m going down there in the event of a bomb attack.

Oh- And you missed a main attraction. Nearby the Zoo is a metro station. And in the metro station is the longest escalator you will EVER see. I think this is a picture of it- it may not be the right one. But it gets the point across. (Click the link-thing)

You would have looked so dapper in the zoo shirt/hat combo. All you would need to complete the outfit is binoculars and lots of khaki.

We went to the Indianapolis Zoo last weekend, and the gift shop was so disappointing. They didn’t really have old junk like this one, but everything was just kind of boring.
